Is this worth it to read I feel like I’ve seen so many mixed opinions on it ╮(￣▽￣)╭
its a mind fuck and its not pretty but the characters are good and consistent. there is no definite line between good and bad so its realistic in that sense. i still don't see where its going so it has me engaged. if you are okay with dark themes this is good for you if not then don't touch even with a ten foot pole.

All characters are fucked up and you can only vaguely really understand why they act the way they do
And all this is used to keep the drama going through all the story.
So basically, the romance / plot and characters are weak but it's still interesting. I keep wanting to know what will happen next.
sorry but no. if you understand darker plots you will understand exactly where the characters are coming from.
and the school is definitely messed up. thats what makes the story interesting. we see how first the characters try to conform then realize how messed up it is then try to fight while some find their own way to adapt and yet while others who may finally put an end to the caste system in the school.
there is rape and the mc definitely does fall in love but its not a mainstream troop of "he raped me cause he loves me back so i should love him too". the characters are far more complex then that - they have a love/hate relationship going. like i said before it is psychological and it is dark but i disagree with this comment of the plot and characters being weak. its not all romance either.
I guess the plot being weak is wrong since it is interesting.
But the characters and the romance is weak.
Why? Well at the begining the uke treated the seme like he was inferior. Then he got raped by seme and hated him. Then he was constantly raped by seme until he started having feelings. Not to mention Azusa is target because of Karino. I consider this a weak romance but if you think its well made, thats your opinion.
I think the characters are weak because most of the time it feels like their actions are happening only to keep the story going / add drama and not natural at all.
Stuff like Karino raping the MC constantly while falling for him. Stuff like Azusa falling for Karino without Karino ever stopping to treat him badly. Stiff like Karino forcing Atsumu to fuck Azusa. Also Azusa who decided to not write anything on the exam paper.
But feel free to justify everything by saying "they are confused and have mixed feelings" and consider them well made characters.
