Yeah well even if we see the story through his point of view in season 2, that doesn't change the fact that he's toxic, whether he does it consciously or not.
He makes rules like don't fall in love with me, then manipulates Haesoo to fall in love with him saying things like "you can't live without me" "no matter who you see you'll always come back to me". When you fucking make boundaries for a relationship RESPECT them, and don't manipulate someone to break the rules.
He LOVES making Haesoo like him and the attention he gets out of reminding Haesoo of the feelings towardd him, he knows Haesoo can't say it out loud, since acknowledging his feelings openly would mean breaking a rule and Haesoo wouldn't dare losing Joowon nor does he want to seem "immature" because he's being a emotional AND that way Joowon can keep Haesoo at an arms lenght all without having to Commit to the relationship. That way he doesn't feel pressured to do anything, he can do shit on his own accord (hence the ring), he doesn't have to make the relationship clear, that way he doesn't have to take responsibility for anything, and since nothing was clear from the start there can be "no beginning and no ending" to that relationship, meaning he can come back to Haesoo anytime he feels like it, it's blurry so he has full freedom and full control.
He DOES like Haesoo in some twisted way, but he doesn't like him more than he likes himself, i don't care about what narrative is gonna be told, his actions are clear. He made sure Haesoo would be stuck in a mess and keeps him emotionally involved enough not to leave or KNOW that he CAN leave and SHOULD leave. He's got him wrapped around his finger and if Taku takes that away from him, he's gonna freak out, cause you'd be taking "his" Haesoo.
Again, whether he does it consciously or not is not my problem, that man isn't just not good for Haesoo, he's not good for a relationship periodt. He needs to see a webtoon psychologist lol
Don't let nobody treat you like you're "theirs", a relationship is partnership, like Shan always says, it's 1 plus 1 equald 3. You, your partner and the relationship ( ̄へ ̄)
Tbh I don't care who Haesoo ends up with tht much, I think the most important thing is that he heals.
Joowon takes him for granted, Haesoo loves him and is addicted to the few good moments they share. It's kinda like Haesoo is at the casino and everytime he puts money into the machine he expects a reward, sometimes he gets it and sometimes he doesn't, he knows its harming him, but he addicted to those few rewards and doesn't know how to stop.
Even if he doesn't end up with Taku, I think he'll be a GREAT help for him. Haesoo needs to get away from that toxic relationship and I hope Taku will help him get a hold of himself and leave.
As long as he heals and gets to a better plzce mentally, I really don't care about a love interest, I just want him to move on from the toxicity.
So far so good.
Love the plot, the pacing, the characters, the backstories.. Etc
If this keeps on going in this direction, it'll definitely become THE best shounen-ai webtoon EVER imo.
There's been GREAT works, but the endings were shit (At The End Of The Road for example) omg I hopr the author won't give us the classic rushed ending all yaoi /shounenai webtoons give us
Let's pray the yaoi Gods everyone hmmm
This story makes zero sense, you can tell the author is just trying to push them to smash
Too bad, webtoons have gotten super repetitive and they're almost always pushing rape/violence /blackmailing. That ain't cute and you'd think with time we'd get bettef stories and tropes but nope.
I don't like the main couple, it's rushed and doesn't make sense, why would he go so far for that pic? Nah this is bad.
I know most ppl don't like the black haired guy but DAMN the sex scenes are actually waaay better than those of the main couple ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
He basically has the blood of a guy that can cure the main character (the uke is a half vampire so that blood's supposed to turn him full vampire)
N he threatened long haired guy (raised the uke), said he'd give him the blood if he he obeys him but he plans on fucking him till its too late to save the uke
Let me just be honest here
I absolutely HATE the director SHITTY AF wow. I Have never been mad at a yaoi character this damn much, after all these years reading.
Like wow, okay threatening him to date him was already wtf but it's yaoi so I went with it
But then he fucking slams him on a car wtf and legit stalks him and duplicates his key without asking (⊙…⊙ )
This man is REAAAALLY creepy and toxic.
Lmao I've never made a xomment like thid and I been reading yaoi for YEARS, so author sama really has to get it together cause this character is detestable af and I don't think the intent is for the seme to be hated.
Idk personally I'm over him and if he does something EXTRA good it'll feel like the author is tryna salvage the situation and he's actibg out of character
I hope there'll be some character development where he acknowledges his mistakes and doesn't repeat them, but if he keeps doing shit like this then ew, I'll root for the ukes instead or just drop the manhwa completely
Am I the only one who gets 19 days' vibes from the design of the characters? Especially with the tan dude and the red hair bully
