I think they'll most likely part ways soon. Luke looks like the wife that's abt to die in an action movie, he's glowing in a "end is near" type of way.

Honestly, I agree. The pacing isn't great when it comes to Jupiter suddenly falling so hard. It would have been nice to see some actual chemistry before all of the "together forever" back and forth.
I feel like Jupiter's obsession with him is a superficial one based on the fact that he's the only esper he's met who wasn't basically immediately infatuated with him and obsessed. It's like he NEEDS the validation from him because of it and can't stand someone being so distant to him. Now idk if the author intended it to be interpreted that way or not
This, also Caden feeling hurt and getting emotional when it what brought up that Jupiter is meant for another guide was weird as well. Where did the sudden attachment come from.
I think its because every person he guides fall head over heels for him and wants more guiding but when it comes to the MC he felt a diff vibe thats why he got so obsessed?
I'm thinking the boxer might have been abused or something in the past, maybe he was told pain and suffering are the only way he can atone for his sins.
Or maybe he has a hard time feeling things like most people, so he goes through intense situations to feel something.
hmm i think you might be onto something with the "atone for his sins" theory. he smiles whenever Incheol grabs his collar/is about to hit him. in fact he smiled even in the first chapter when Incheol finds him all beat up in his own home. Wonder what that's all about. And I don't think we've seen him smile with any of his other opponents or partners at all. Curious and curiouser...
