Literally, the artist had Angus and his lover side by side in 2 panels.... and their faces were identical... terrible.
That ending was like being passed on the autobahn. No solving the coming out as a woman, especially to their nemesis'. TOO RUSHED.
but... I think it went off the rails with the time skip/separation. Then it just became extremely tropey. I skipped so much out of boredom. And the Wen BS went on for faaar too long.
