Yes you're right. The King was a rape victim by the previous Queen and Blanche is a child of rape. That's why the King avoids Blanche. Also the reason why the King also avoids our FL because before the FL got reincarnated the original owner of the body also made advances and tried to force herself to the King. So I do understand what he's going through. It's already a big step for him to have dinner with both girls and an even bugger one that he actually agreed to dance practice and also danced with Blanche. Yeah, I know what you mean and I know why he's acting this way, it's just the drastic change and the slow pace of the arc is getting to me.
Also, cause I kind of hate manga with scummy Mc's and harem tropes ( cause there's always a useless FL and damsel in distress kind of thing ) it made me kind of forget that he has to act this way so he can live and stuff.
