holy shit, this is so good! harrietta is so cute and funny and I'm sooo glad she's not a mary sue. she's nice to edwin, but she's not a saintess and neither is she incredibly beautiful or skilled or smart or confident. she's just a normal girl. a nice but normal girl. and I love her for that. her self-loathing made me cry because it was completely understandable. edwin is very interesting as far as male leads go. they're usually all the same, just incredibly handsome and capable. he's all that as well, but there's more to him. like a proper knight, he's stoic and a little bit clumsy with words. he's also loyal to a fault. literally. his upbringing really shows on his character. he sees duty and nothing else, you couldn't even call him a kind man. but he's definitely just! so his feelings of guilt towards harrietta allow them to get close to each other, it's very convincing. the art is absolutely GORGEOUS and the pace is nice! there were no scenes that felt pointless. this has great potential, I hope it doesn't fall off!
