Going on this site and reading BL/yaoi has been a consistent 'hobby' of mine for 10 years now. Sadly I can't really share it with many people in my life, and when people ask what I do for fun, I just say reading, watching shows, and surfing the net. So I'm on the computer or phone for any hobby of mine, and it's pretty lonely. I used to draw a lot and wanted to start my own webcomic, but it took too much time and patience. My friends are all scattered and I live in the burbs away from the city with lots to do. After work, I just go straight home and look for updates on BL stuff. Anyone else in the same boat?
I know the tragic element of future and family is part of the trope in ch 10, but I mean surrogacy is always an option or adoption. I find it ironic that Japan has robots and advanced technology, yet still lacks in the human rights department. However, there's actual progress in real world when it comes to recognizing gay partnership in Japan, esp in tokyo. I truly hope within a couple of years, these new breakthroughs and acceptance will be shown in yaoi. That would be truly refreshing to read.
But then again those two cost a lot of money.
Unfortunately despite Japan's advancement, they're still deeply rooted in the old fashioned values that they're raised with from birth.
Hopefully yeah. I mean they have advanced a lot. Considering that there is more and more yaoi being published.
