I believe that was the kind man who let Tanjiro sleepover at his home one stormy night after a day of hardwork in town. But that sleepover made Tanjiro come home 1 day too late to save his family from Muzan.

He could not have protected them at all. He used to be a normal boy. That sleep over saved Tanjirous life. If he went home that night everyone would be dead by now (Nezuko would have been killed by Giyuu)
True. What I meant to say was try to protect them. Bc after his father passed away. He being eldest son became a substitute as the paternal figure of the family. So he sees it as his duty to protect his family and earn money for them to live off of. So Tanjiro regrets not being there with his family when facing death at their doorsteps.

So, Jinyoo was captured again? What about Hayan, how did she ended up in all that shenanigan? How did Gyunwool escaped prison? He literally kidnapped 3 people and stabbed his partner in crime (who I don't think they ever mentioned what happened to Howan). There's too many holes

She did that because if the black market makes mistakes, she can ask for more things!

She's also doing this because of these reasons:
- To teach him a Lesson because he was looking down on her for her age (basically, he can't believe someone younger than him holds a black token). Killing him there won't teach him not to look down on others because of their apparent age.
-Killing him would cause awkward tension between herself and the black market. It's true that she is one of their more valued clients, but the way treat Xu suggests he has a decent amount of backing as well. Since Lord Hell gave her the blood identified black token, that's almost like saying she owns the black market. So she'd be causing problems for herself in the long run if the black market has to waste time dealing with any backlashes for killing Xu on black market grounds. That's why she let the higher-ups know, so they can deal with Xu by themselves, and whatever backing Xu has can't say a thing in return.
- As mentioned by @space_darkawafangirl, she can ask more of the black market. As a client of the black market, she has been inconvenienced by another user, so the black market has to step in as a neutral service provider.
They kept her waiting.
They brought a group.
They questioned her ownership of the token.
They gave her a counterfeit token.
That's multiple insults. It requires a strong assault.
She is making a point and letting the bad guy get away with his plot for a moment, just to make sure to get big payback via the black market's own people. She's not always about solving things easily--but getting maximum, "Don't fuck with me" out of it. This way, no one else in Da Yan's Black Market is going to look down on the teen "doc."
