The emperor is borderline psychopath and manipulative when it comes to a person he loves. And that is VERY dangerous, and toxic -- not at all sweet and pure. I'm not saying it's supposed to be, but sending an innocent person who was entangled in the marriage problem away just because he is overly possessive and has deep feelings for Rosaline is just SO TOXIC and NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ROMANTICIZED. Imagine, what if Rosaline actually loved that man? And the emperor just sent him away for his selfish reason. Then in the audience's POV, he will become the VILLAIN. But good thing for him, she is not. And he is also attractive which is a plus. I just hope there's going to be a character development because from what I'm seeing, the author is really pushing for the toxic overly possessive doesn't want to admit his feelings but good looking and powerful ML which is a little iffy. genuine question: Why did the goddess make the FL's mom become a temporary saint then? Honestly, I'm not even surprised that she became a villain. She received this new powers and authority, and ofc it feels nice and naturally humans want to maintain it. But after hearing that it will be taken away from her in the future, won't you naturally feel horrible? I just don't get why the goddess had to give her temporary power, but I hope the plot in the next chapters will explain it.

- she actually DID became the temporary saintess. The goddess wasnt expecting her to be evil bcs she wasn't originally evil UNTIL the guy who gave her the ring or u can say the darkness brainwashed her into becoming his puppet or for short the darkness' puppet to spread darkness in their world. Im guessing she was having some troubles that time and since she was weak the darkness took it as an advantage to finally brainwash her. Since she was the temporary saintess, she was also given temporary wings and thats ahin and 2 more that hasnt showed in the manhwa yet. Since ahin was originally the temporary wing for her sent by the saintess, he got brainwashed right away into thinking that the saintess is the 'real' saintess nd forgot that she was just a temporary one and also the other ones. The wings that josephine has rn are all wings that was sent by the darkness. They dont have power whatsoever like the original wings have, they have power bcs the darkness is controlling them. Im guessing she was a temporary saintess bcs they need her to give her actual powers to the next saintess, which is her daughter but since she got blinded by power and brainwashed by darkness, they didnt expect her to do evil acts and thats entirely the goddess' fault. But knowing that, the dragon and the goddess helped each other to turn back time (as u can see in this chapter, it explained it) and bcs of the time turning back, the power of the darkness got weaker making the other original wings to realize that theyre being brainwashed but still darkness still finds a way to brainwash them again but since its a lot weaker, once leticia gets her power awakened and more powerful, she can beat the darkness including the curse that her mother gave her. (Which she will in the end) Leticia's first wing was Noelle bcs shes the only wing that wasn't brainwashed. The brother of our ml was also a wing and he knew from the start that leticia was the saintess, and thats why he tells our ml to protect her at all cost.
