dont side with chika. the story is how chika is forcing his love on to hotaka and manipulating him into having some sort of a relationship with him knowing full well that hotaka doesn't love him. Masato waited and waited and waited until he knew hotaka was ready for him. i will not lie, touching hotaka while married was just plain wrong but i feel masato realized this and thats why he didnt have sex with hotaka until much later. masato separated from his wife and then pursued the one he'd been in love with for years. hotaka and masato dont have a grand love story rather they are two people who find solace and true comfort in one another that goes further than them just being friends. I feel that hotaka has learnt from what happened with chika so he wouldnt continue this relationship if he truly didnt have romantic feelings for masato. hotaka and masato have a natural romance with just them liking eachothers company which makes them the superior couple.
