It’s interesting because on the surface hyeondo’s relationship seemed more toxic, with his ex being a huge manipulator, destroying his self esteem and messing with his mind… but I think the trauma and betrayal of knowing the person you love lied about loving you for years, to know that everything you experienced and did together wasn’t real, it can mess with your perception so much.. I honestly think what Yumin’s ex did to her is just as bad if not worse, and no matter what’s his reason (whether he’s gay or asexual or whatever), what he did is unforgivable and will be a trauma that would be very hard to heal from.
