So real for this. She caused an unnecessary drama

Yeah, but that's not what I was pointing out. I read many comments here where they were feeling pity for juliet, so I wanted to share how the real pitiful person in their 1st life was enoch not juliet that's why she tries to change things.

It was because of a huge misunderstanding caused by Enoch's older brother. She felt betrayed about the thought that Enoch would force her to marry him without so much as talking to her nor letting her see him before signing the papers. She actually gave him some chance at the time when she was signing the marriage certificate, she was gonna let it go and be married to him if he was there, but he wasn't. She fell in love with him and she felt that everytime they were together was a lie.

However, I also believe Enoch was the most pitiful one here. I cried too much because of him lol. Both in the past and the present. She could've asked him after they were married, but she was overcome with grief and anger that she ignored all pf Enoch's effort to fix their relstionship. Disrespected him, and never once asked what his reason was why he wasn't there. I really feel sorry for his past life, what did past Enoch thought when his wife won't even look at him nor talk to him properly? When she was dying because he married her? What did he feel when he decided to die for her so that she could live? She'll love but then he will not be there beside her. He took one ring but left the other for her, hoping but not expecting that she'll wear it. Much less look at it. He even told his assistant to make his heart into a beautiful necklace that will suit her. Fudge THIS FREAKING HURTS.

That past Enoch died while thinking those things. Doesn't matter that she turned back time, the past Enoch still died LIKE THAT. Thinking he'll never be loved by the woman he loves so much. Thinking he's the reason why that is so. Thinking he deserved it because he truly is a monster, like what she said to him. Longing for those times when they were still okay. THIS FREAKING HURTS.

i’m a big enoch and juliet defender so here’s my two cents

juliet has always liked him. before he was revealed to be the duke, she enjoyed his company in the gardens. however, because he lied to her and then skipped the official meeting (because he was sick but she didn’t know at the time), she felt betrayed. first, he was showering her with affection! but then she finds out he lied? not to mention he doesn’t even show up! she must have felt she was just being used for her position. she wanted honesty but because enoch is scared of being hated, he lied.

additionally, juliet is cursed just like enoch is. her family has a disease that kills their princesses young. so she already knew she would live a short life, now add on to being thrown into a marriage she didn’t consent to! she was tossed into a foreign country with the man who deceived her with no friends or family. no matter how much she liked him, she felt betrayed which fueled her anger.

this is all due to miscommunication and also just the emperor being a dick lmao and not properly explaining. after she knew everything (because remember, EVERYONE was lying to her. enoch, her brother, even the emperor) it was only then she realized what was going on. that’s why she felt so guilty. it’s not that she was mad for no reason, but she was intentionally being kept in the dark. there was no honesty in their first timeline. while enoch did love her dearly, he also lied constantly. even until his death, he never revealed anything to her, so enoch isn’t exactly a good person either. but in the end, i love both of their characters because it’s so complex
