I'm on chapter 15 and I feel like the author established too strong of a found family, parent/kid dynamic for this to turn sexual naturally. Like, at this point if it turned romantic I'm gonna feel so uncomfortable. I think the author missed the jump where they could do that so now it's gonna feel so weird and gross

yeah I feel too invested in the current dynamic, and given the age difference and their circumstances, it just feels RIGHT the way it is. It's fairly normal for a young kid his age to develop a crush on an older person, who hasn't had an innocent crush at that age... and the MC is looking after him because he's trying to make up for all the things he couldn't do for his own younger sister, to protect and provide for him.. and so for MC to suddenly even see the kid in a sexual light would feel extremely weird and would ruin the relationship and dynamic - even if it happens when the kid is older.
I kind of forgot hakyung got really close to the grandpa in the time he spent there... the grandpa died then he was immediately chased away. Couldn't even grieve over it with yoonsung

From that last chapter I thought a chasing arc was gonna start but hunter is thinking shit like "ooh i can't slowly manipulate him into trusting me... I have to be more aggressive!" and idk if he means he's gonna or if he means more like going on the offense... romantically, or if he means forcing yujin into being with him. Idk they're on two different wavelengths rn I don't think either of them forreal like each other yet besides attraction oof this hurts

Basically the bottom was groomed and abused by his tutor, and then he met the MC when the MC was younger. Long story short he used the mc's big brother to be closer to him. big bro found out and offed himself. And is basically trying to groom MC into remembering him and looking only at him.

You can't escape seeing r*pe in yaoi but straight up blackmail too? I mean ik sometimes they have the threat of blackmail in other yaoi, but Ik this author would have the top follow through. When it's psychological horror that's one thing, but this author writes smut like this for the sake of it. But I literally can never read it without feeling like I'm reading psychological horror. On one hand I believe in 'don't like don't read' but man I really wonder who tf enjoys this, or if the author really thinks they're cooking.
I think I just personally don't like the author cause of the massive disappointment they gave the s&m community. People were so excited for s&m themed webtoons but it turned out to be the most dangerous, stereotypical type stories. Basically felt like what people who don't do s&m fantasize it being. Or the type of people who get into s&m thinking they can do whatever they want
