Also who tf shares their ID online Ik people trade stuff/sell items from games but I didnt realise theyd be sharing their ids i thought it was like cashapp or paypal im choosing to believe it was just for the sake of plot

We share id and sometimes even video call when we sell the game account. Some of the sellers can't be trusted and they just took away the money and then can't contact them anymore.

It's risky for the buyer too. It's really common in my country to share id if you're doing transaction online without 3rd party platform.
