I mean, there’s already something fishy with her money(going to a random dude that she’s friendly with) AND ITS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR THEM TO HAVE A KID. ITS LIKE SOMEONE INFERTILE FINDING OUT THEIR WIFE IS PREGNANT XD LIKE, YOU GOTTA ASK QUESTIONS THEN LOL

i get that TT but he’s obviously stupid for not seeing what his wife is going through knowing how fucked up his family is. instead of acting like that, he should’ve come clean w her about him not being able to have kids and get another doctor to confirm her pregnancy. she wanted to reach out to him but he just brushes her off. he also just constantly assumes the worse about his wife when they haven’t even had a proper conversation yet. imo, he’s the main problem here. sorry, it’s just hard for me to understand where he’s coming from

I’ll just say some stuff in his perspective, since we’ve mostly seen things from MC’s perspective:

-he was abandoned as a kid
-he didn’t even realize this, thinking it was his fault for being burdensome to his mother
-had to support himself and get rich quickly as a little kid
-got exploited by his relatives
-the relatives only showed his impressionable kid self love when he gave them material stuff
-reaffirmed his believe that money is how you solve problems and also why his mother had left him.
-he was never taught basic etiquette or shown actual parental and any form of love by a person, he probably has a hard time detecting stuff like that now

Okay, now what has happened with MC:

-cause of what happened, he still believes money and material things is what’s needed to show love and make a person happy
-the whole debt thing that caused him to be busy
-he doesn’t want her to leave him so begins working harder to get a steady income so she can be supported(again, mother issues cause he thought she left him cause she couldn’t support him)
-MC has asked for a divorce
-thinks MC is using the money he gave her(his sht family is)
-thinks MC doesn’t love him
-doesn’t want to let MC go
-finds out her money is going to a infamous playboy, who she’s also friendly with cause childhood.
-he’s already insecure about how she’s basically a flower on a cliff, thinking she wouldn’t like how he is.(so a guy from her childhood who knows proper noble etiquette and is more friendly is clearly not something to be happy about)
-HE THINKS SHES HAVING AN AFFAIR CAUSE WHO WOULDN’T
-can’t check anything cause domestic issues with money and sht
-DESPITE THIS, HE STILL WANT TO BE WITH HER SO DOESNT TRY TO PRY.
-then the baby issues:

-she has said multiple times that she wants a child
-he doesn’t know it’s because she’s trying to make it so they can’t get separated, cause he feels like her position in the family is unstable.
-they are essentially two people in love with each other, but they both don’t know.
-because of the fact she’s talked about children multiple times and the fact she was already talking about divorce, OF COURSE HE WOULDNT BRING UP THE FACT HE CANT HAVE CHILDREN. THATS LIKE GIVING A REASON FOR HER TO LEAVE HIM.(cause he doesn’t know that she loves him and is trying to have a child to stay with him. He thinks she really wants a child, and he can’t do that for her(which was why he was looking up information about half’s, so he could possibly have a child with her and make her happy))

-only recently realized his family is kind of shit, and doesn’t even know how shitty they are.(all he knows is that they make his wife uncomfortable and took punishment way too far(and he actually got mad at them)) he’s just suspicious right now cause:
-they’re the only people that showed him “love” when he was vulnerable.
-feels indebted to them
-he doesn’t know about the connections they have to her new doctor.

-who the fuck would think “maybe she was slipped fake pregnancy pills”
-They have virtually no way of having kids and she’s now “pregnant”
-SHE MAY BE HAVING AN AFFAIR
-AND SINCE THEY CANT HAVE KIDS, THAT CHILD WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE TO BE FROM THE “AFFAIR”

Yes, what the MC has gone through is super shitty and I feel bad for her, but do you not see this dude either. From both their perspectives, you can see how shitty their lives out and how all these misunderstandings and fuck ups happen.

Also, to chrollo, I wished he did too ;; but he can't cause he thinks it'll make her start wanting to divorce again. He thinks that she really wants kids, and even in modern times, relationships have broken because of the fact that children aren't possible between the two of them.

Oh wow, now that's a plot twist with the ML.. and I'm really glad that some of the secrets are slowly revealing (like in this chapter) and that he's able to see that our FL is being abused.
