The two are perfect examples of someone who’s moved on versus someone who’s stuck in the past. Misuzu found his person, his purpose, his reason to move forward. This guy needs to as well, but the motivation gotta come from within him. Poor Misuzu probably sees his past self in this guy and tries to help but it’s not always that simple. I’m glad Kitahara gave him a stern warning though, and how mature he is to let Misuzu fight his own battle, but he’s always ready to step in if things go south. That’s a real man right there! Doomed yaoi set in apocalyptic zombie infested world. Brilliant story telling btw, it was creepy but emotional at the same time. Perhaps in another timeline, they would all be have achieved happiness with each other.
Should start from second couple, Linus and Connor. Linus has been feeding Connor with corpses ever since he turned into a zombie. The twist at the end is that Linus was already bitten, that’s why Connor doesn’t appear to attack him. In his mind they’re still lovers, and as long as he’s alive Connor is also alive in his mind.
Their story feature two small town cops, Adam and Mark. Small town, bigoted community, Mark had to get married and they couldn’t be together. Fast forward into the future, Adam finds the teenager William and captures him, seemingly to deal w his own loneliness in the apocalyptic world. It is safe to assume Mark is dead, and William is his replacement since they do look alike. Adam has been bitten, and he spends his last days protecting William. William seems to have developed Stockholm syndrome and doesn’t leave Adam even when he finds out Adam has been infected.
Last story is about a journalist who stumbled upon an isolated home where Lawrence is waiting for the return of his older brother. They have an incestuous relationship, and Lawrence acts dumb and innocent until Raymond revealed that his brother won’t be returning because he saw him as a zombie. Lawrence then dropped the act, and instead of running away w Raymond, he wanted to die with his brother. Raymond decided that he will remember the stories that he’s been told and of the ones he’s encountered to keep the memories of them leaving alive. As he continues on his journey, we see glimpses of the other couples. William has shot himself while handcuffed to Adam in their car, probably once Adam fully turned. The zombie corpse hanging on the tree that Adam urged William to shoot as a target practice turned out to be Linus, and Connor’s skeleton is seen sitting under the tree. End w the quote “Even if he forgets, I’ll remember” as William hugs Adam in his sleep knowing he will soon turn into a zombie

Their breakup was so dumb that while reading the new update (Chpt. 5), I already forgot the reason and had to go back to the previous chapter to find out. I guess their misunderstanding and miscommunication can be attributed to them being young and dumb...but gosh....what a waste of time and the unnecessary heartbreak they both went through, especially the uke, who was too shock to respond differently when the seme suddenly suggested breakup.

The fact that I read 3 other manga updates before this JUST to cushion the lack of development in Jinx…Went from sweet and loving Sonokoi Jihanki de Kaemasuka and Wolf in the House….and even thought Slammer Dogs was sweeter than this BS……At this point I’m waiting for the begging on his knees arc but at this point I’m not sure if I will even be satisfied no matter how much horse-shit suffers….
Heonjae is the worst out of the 3 MCs. Dude is psycho and delulu, he seems to fixate/imprint his love onto someone at first sight of kindness, and is the type of obsessive lover where if things don’t work out he’s gonna cut your legs and strap you to the bed so you can be together forever. Meanwhile Jingi always seems that he has some sense to him. In flashbacks he was a normal functioning member of society. I still HIGHLY suspect that his uncle is responsible for him ending up in jail and may have s*exually ab*used him as a child, given how he always tries to shield Myeong from the uncle. And the fact that he was su*icdal at one point proves to me that he was def a victim. In the flashback, baby Jingi visiting his mother in jail w their family picture was literally so precious, something traumatizing must’ve happened to him :((((
