ya, the plot is important, but also the execution.
It's starting to look like the drama is just for the drama, not for the plot anymore.
I want the author to move on from this arc and come back with season two, a sister story, or even a new story in a new universe.

Unless the author can surprise us with a miracle twist, I believe that the arc should end.

This arc is almost done, actually, the whole story is almost done. I'm not sure what happened at the saint, but I've seen a chapter where she go in the water and I think tried to go back in the real world, just like what she did before coming in that world. I don't understand korean so I'm not sure at the events, but yeah, in the raw chapters there are 85 chapters in total, so only 15 chapters left, in here, before this story ends.

i dont think age is the problem, its their family relationships. Shes a mother of like 4 kids? and the black hair ml and prince is close to her eldest son's age. So he have to call whoever she ends up with, 'Dad' even though he could be his brother. Then again, she can be considered a sister to her current fam. so its like double weird family situation. Sry if you're confused haha.

tbh, when I read the first chapter, I was kind of hoping that it'd follow the story of a spirit beast, especially since the title is "dragon king" so when it cut to a 6 y/o boy I was kind of disappointed.

like it could have been about a week spirit beast having to blend into human society and spy and stuff in order to win the war and from their perspective. Like they'd have to grow stronger and use their abilities without humans noticing

maybe I just didn't feel too hooked due to the disappointment but I'm still wondering if this is worth the read

i honestly prefered the first Doulou Dalu since it was a lot more exciting and the characters seemed a lot more powerful but the last two didn't have that much of a hook as that first one.

Its definitely worth the read, it explains things later and if you've read the first two then it'll make more sense later on. There's a major backstory involved here before it gets to the main one but it is SO worth it.

I think people forget that she is in fact a genius fighter, praised even in his past life. she ain't weak at all. i'd like to see you avoid being hit by a huge wrecking ball. （￣へ￣). she's awesome on in a way different from the poison phoenix. both are equally awesome. but i kind of don't see our baby boy with either of them ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄

Yes we shouldn't hate characters but Sister Nak (for me) is such a stereotypical character. Pretty, strong since a child, even stronger in the future, childhood friend of MC- it always happens and it's sooO boring :(. And Sister Nak even if not weak still appears like that so MC can save her... Ughhhh
I like badass poison phoenix more. Besides wouldn't it be interesting if MC ended up with someone you don't know from the start is going to be with MC? :(

I agree that they would be a bit toxic but saying that she would just be there to be his lover seem kinda ironic. Poison Phoenix had her own life and clan. She’s strong on her own. But sister nak has only been “relevant” when Mc is present. I think Mc and poison Phoenix would be a power couple, and sister nak and mc would have too much of a power imbalance. I think their dynamic is different.
