This is totally just my opinion but Im curious if anyone feels similarly or if I'm way off base. I was kinda bored by the fact that the uke broke so quickly and then just stayed that way for until the end.I though this would grapple more with "the meaning of life". Like what drives a human to keep loving despite having such short lives vs an immortal vampire. And like... it kinda does, but it feels very... shallow.
The entire second half is just characters meandering through locations, repeating the exact same thoughts in a very Poison for Kuzco maner that never let's us delve into their motivations much deeper.
If you cut straight from ch 3 to ch 6, you dont lose any information. This feels like a lot of nothing dressed up in an expensive gothic horror costume and nothing else.
Idk. I was just... expecting something.
