The disappearance of the brother's ghost has made the manga less of a supernatural horror and more of a psychological horror now. I wonder if the ghost leaving is due to Hijiri moving on from him, thus allowing his spirit to be at rest, or if his ghost is just not tied to Hijiri anymore because he's forgotten about him.
The premise was honestly kinda interesting but the author made it better by creating the dumbest horror schlock in existence.
Anyone who's interested in this because of the drama and horror tags, it's not even slightly scary, it's a full blown comedy. Don't take it too seriously, it's meant to be meme fuel
I don't know how to feel about this... The priest is obviously supposed to be a morally corrupt person that Ichiro has no feelings for, but if there is an off chance that they might end up together, it would feel lazy. Just seeing the priest talk about only wanting love after admitting to raping and murdering a child doesn't even strike me as dark, it's more disjointed than anything.
We'll have to see though. Obviously this isn't going to have a good ending, but I hope it won't go for the worst ending possible.
Oh, so I'm guessing that Sayaka went to the science faction, learned that the Familie group is experimenting on children and using them as livestock, and saved Kurumi.
It doesn't really mesh well with the continuous use of memory blockers to prevent her from leaving her side though. I wonder if every character Kurumi meets will use her for their own personal gain.
So I don't think that the priest was the culprit of the crime, but I do think that he was the one who framed the MC. I think that maybe the culprit went to the church to confess his sins, and the priest took it as an opportunity to get the MC to stay with him. He mentions that they've gone drinking together, so the priest might've managed to plant evidence on Ichiro that led to him getting arrested easily.
Idk there's a lot of obvious flaws in my theory, but there's no way the priest is innocent, he's gotta be guilty of SOMETHING.
I really like the villains character designs tbh. They all articulate the personality of the character really well. Diego's in particular is really well done, it doesn't try too hard to be unique but it still leaves a lasting impression. The chapter he appeared in was incredibly uncomfortable even before the horrific implications of what he did to the girls.
Favourite design has to be Hakukos though. The fox design in the hair is too cute to not be.
