Sara seems a bit worryingly eager to die. I initially thought that Natalie was the one with suicidal inclinations but Sara definitely isn't holding on for dear life either. She did convince herself it was for the kingdom, but I don't believe that's the main reason.
Either way, I see her willingness for martyrdom being a major conflict later in the series. The translator mentions the original pixiv work was heavy on the edge and angst, so I don't see this going well for her.
I like how casually Sato drops the choujin supremacy line. No reaction either, they just go "Ah, of course." It was pretty obvious that he was messed up though so I shouldn't be too surprised.
Personally I think that making extras for each volume for the explanation page would be better than having them directly after the chapter. It wouldn't ruin the flow of the comic that much. They are pretty helpful for some, like the fire extinguisher joke, but for the rest it's just kinda hammering it in.
I do like the tiny drawings done for the explanation pages though.
It's really interesting, kind of reminds me of Dark Souls with the monsters and designs. I'm not a gigantic Nihei fan, I've only read two of his works, but the artstyle used here seems really different from what I've usually seen from him. I assume it's due to the large no. of pages but it's still fairly nice to look at.
Also about the actual story, the wizard is shown to be able to impersonate people, so I wonder if the princess is actually alive or if the wizard wants them to get to the top. Only time will tell though.
I really liked the newest chapter though, the combination of everyone enjoying themselves and having fun immediately followed by Yomiko having to feel guilt over her association with the Institute was really hard hitting.

The characters are sooo pretty! There's only 4 chapters so I hope that it isn't rushed or anything, it's a cool setting.
Anywayss, I assume that the town is involved in a cult? The summary says that his childhood memories are a bit hazy so I'm guessing that he might've died judging by the scar on his neck, and the town used their gods power to revive him, thus tying him to the town. Maybe the pills he takes are what's ruining his memories? He's presumably living with the town's doctor so I guess he makes him take the pills everyday (or maybe theyre just sleeping pills he takes out of his own free will). Excited for more!
