okay stop there it can get annoying when someone makes the characters op so i'm going to guess that the person who's writing this manga had an idea to make it to where the humans had to rely on there own power at first because it seems like only nobles know how to get the familiars and then the towns folk know how to get some ores probably by accident. so when you have a human they cant use to much power but with the familiars as you can see then they get powerful as well with the ores but by themselves there not actually weak my guess again in that they all learned swordplay/swordsmen ship from some on who knows it thus making them stronger not powerful just stronger and I like it like that but then theirs also the MC who can use self defense that's OP in some eyes

I'm not 100% sure but based on the hints, and from reading tons of manga, I think he's the Emperor's younger brother and not a eunuch at all. And I'm guessing that the hairpin his assistant scolded him about is his royal symbol. (Another hint, when he said he was watched over by his assistant from birth, I don't think anyone aside from higher ups have such devoted lifelong attendants, especially not eunuchs.)

Well according to the novel (if the manga follows the light novel...
So the pharmacist in the recent chapter isn’t her real dad. Her real dad is actually a general in the palace. I think they know each other because he recognizes her. They’ll meet in after quite a few chapters. Her real dad is kind of sly and cunning but he’s not a bad guy. I don’t quite remember what happen/who the mom is because it’s been a while since I’ve kept up with the novel. If I can recall she knows him but she doesn’t really sees him as her real dad since the other dad was the one who raised her and taught her about medicine

The Mom was a prostitute who got pregnant to get out of this life. But her Dad left for war (I think) and then since she was pregnant her worth reduced a lot. Her (now) dad adopted her. He used to be a pharmacist in the inner palace and saved the empress (now empress dowager) life.
It's been a long time since I read the novel so some details are hazy to me.

He planted them there while he worked there but there was a sort of big instance where he couldn’t prevent someone’s death(?) and that’s why he doesn’t work there anymore.
