Yall the emperor IS a child. It's not that he's annoying LIKE a child. He literally IS one. They never say his age but the FL points out he's younger than her which likely means he's at most 19. With that you have to take into account he was raised all his life sheltered, spoiled and entitled. The FL in contrast gained common sense and wisdom through experiencing life out in the modern world.

He's literally ALWAYS been a spoiled child. Since the very beginning he was already throwing tantrums. We are at chapter 125. If it's not for you, it's not for you. The essences of the characters have not changed. It's time to move on if after 125 chapters you still don't like how the ML was written.

I think they're closet masochists. Idk how else they can stand reading 125 chapters of a romance story with an ML they hate. They say they don't like it but they keep coming back for more lol. I can understand complaints at the beginning of the story. But this far in??? Damn. I'm sure we are going to keep seeing them complain even till the end xD. It's like a toxic ex they keep coming back to.

Recs for Unhinged Mad Dog MC

I'm looking for mangas/manhwas where the MC is unhinged and has a short fuse; in other words, a mad dog character. A perfect example is the MC from https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/the_demon_prince_goes_to_the_academy/. He gets angry easily and always retaliates (physically and verbally) as soon as anyone slights him even if its petty. A character similar to Bakugo from MHA works but I would like them to be the MC. Any genre is fine. The MC doesnt have to be male.

Lost in the cloud would kinda work, one of the two MCs coping mechanisms/safety mechanisms is to lash out when he feels threatened (which he often does considering the plot…)

Thanks. I'll have to try it out. I'm more so looking for refreshing situations coming from their anger. Like when bullying is quickly shot down because MC beats the crap out of everyone on day one.

Any recommendations where a main character regrets what they did to another main character? Could be like "10 years where I loved you the most" where the husband regrets cheating on his dying spouse, or like "College Student Empress" where the emperor regrets not helping the empress catch her assassins. Any type of regret is fine. Any genre is also fine.

I ain't here for none of that bullshit with unnecessary drama with bad decision after bad decision. Works by Saitou Chiho and Ueda Rinko are a solid NO for me. Koizora, Kare wa Tomodachi, Raising a Bat and anything similar with kids trying to act like grown ups while making the stupidest decisions are the worst. I've given these stories a sincere chance and read them front to back only to be encountered with dumb angst from beginning to end.

That being said, I'm fine with any genre ("dumb decisions" is not a genre, thank the Lord).

Some of my favorite stories are:

7 Seeds
Basara
Doubutsu no Kuni
Immortal Rain
One Piece
Psycho Pass (the anime)
XxxHolic
Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (when shit hits the fan)
Subaru
Blood-C (the anime)
Full Metal Alchemist (the manga and both anime)
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (the anime)

However, my real weakness are sports mangas. In fact my fav manga ever is

a) stories with what I consider good romance (vague, I know)

c) delinquents whether fluffy ones like in Oresama Teacher or classic ones like in Crows. There's something about Bouya Harumichi that keeps me coming back.
d) harlequins. I know... Sue me. We all have our guilty pleasures
e) historical, specially Bronze Age ლ(･ω･ლ)

I'm fine with taking any recs but I make no promises. My "Want to Read" list is quite beefy. I also have manga I started reading and have been meaning to finish (who am I kidding, it's been years since for some of them). Maybe cause I'm 'old' now but I'm not reading as much as I used to. Nowadays I'm less likely to push myself to read something new.
