Im not one to complain about character designs but am I the only one that feels like Jungwon looks kinda weird? Idk if it's the 90s eyebrows or if it's how his hair sometimes looks like he's wearing a wig on top of a wig or if it's how his lips are not consistent at times or if its his deadpan heroin chic look. Everyone else in the story looks good. But Jungwon's face always makes confused like something's not quite right.

They don't even bother drawing backgrounds anymore (and for a while now too). I've seen weekly manga with more detail. There's really no excuse for a monthly shoujo classic.

That's a weird answer. From what I understand publishing companies and mangaka themselves hire assistants and trainees. Those assistants can take care of backgrounds, betas, shading, etc. Of course the more famous your manga is, the more resources you have available (like Eiichiro Oda has a couple of assistants that help with One Piece). But I would think that given how big Skip Beat is in the shoujo community Nakamura would receive the support to have enough people to draw backgrounds at the very least simple ones with no fancy shading.

To those of yall with good memory: I may be tripping or mixing this up with a different story but I feel like at some point in this story Hermann pretended to be hypnotized in front of Anita and that there was also a scene where it felt like he cared for the MC. Do any of yall remember if there was anything like that? I reaalllyyy don't want to reread this rn.

I'm kinda confused at this comment section. I thought light haired guy was supposed to be a promiscuous, unserious character that just likes having fun. I don't understand why that would be considered the better boyfriend option when he wasn't aiming to be tied down. I also don't understand why it would be bad for him to sleep with the friend considering his personality.
He should go to his sister, Lena, to ask her what's gonna happen tbh. I know he doesn't believe in that kinda stuff but in a moment of desperation it doesn't hurt to ask.
