'Cause ngl I miss the anonymous trolls, among other things.

i'm wondering, am i the only one who cares about the sex of authors? this sounds sexist af, but i usually only like to read things by men. if i see it's by a woman, i don't wanna read it anymore. it has nothing to do with the quality of their writing - i've seen many things written by women that are way better than things written by men. but i still have this hangup, and i've had it for years. it's literally the only reason i don't read yaoi (other than the romanticized rape and heteronormalization and stuff). and the weird thing is that in any other field - politics, medicine, etc - i think women can be just as capable as men. but when it comes to manga and books in general, i gotta avoid them

y'all know any good anime/manga/lgbt discord servers that don't have a million people, preferably newish and at least semi-active? anything over 50's a bit much for me tbh. and i'm an older teen (still a minor though) so i'd prefer if it wasn't full of 12 year olds.

does anyone else get really mad at random sounds? the sound of people (or at least my family) chewing and swallowing next to me is infuriating, especially when my dad chews bones

is anyone here NOT a fujo/fundanshi (for the sake of my question, i'm considering anyone who regularly reads yaoi a fujo/fudan). so far, every profile i've clicked is filled with only yaoi and some shoujo if i'm lucky. feels like i'm the only non-bl lover around
