I stopped watching it around the beginning of the full bring arch. it just looked like it was going to be another bount like arch (I mean ichigo has more transformations than goku ) anyway my bleach obsessed friend said I should pick it back up again but I feel that I'm too far behind. he told me that old man yama died. one reason I decided to read one piece over bleach was because the characters didn't die and stay dead and the characters never really grew up (haven't read so don't kill me) I'd like to know who has died? become new captains? anyone dating(fingers crossed for ichigo and orhime) is aizen free? what happened to grimjaw?

[SPOILERS!!!]
1. The main ones who died (that we know of) are:
Chojiro (killed by Driscoll Berci)
Yamamoto (killed by Yhwach)
Unohana (killed by Kenpachi)
Soul King and Mimihagi (absorbed by Yhwach)
Aizen (killed by Yhwach)
Yhwach (killed by Ichigo & Ishida)
Yamamoto was fighting a fake Yhwach when the real one suddenly showed up from behind. Yhwach told him he'd been talking to Aizen the whole time. Yamamoto started to use his Bankai but Yhwach stole it with a medallion and told him that his Bankai was too big for anyone else other than him (Yhwach) to handle. Suddenly, a large sword made of spiritual energy falls from the sky and Yhwach attacks Yamamoto. Yamamoto's killed (bisected from the shoulder to his waist) and falls down. As Yhwach is walking away, Yamamoto grabs him and cuts off his arm. Yhwach releases a blast of reishi and completely obliterates Yamamoto's body. The only thing the 13 Captains could recover wsa broken pieces of Ryujin Jakka.
2. The new Captains added are: Shinji Hirako, Kensei Muguruma, and Rojuro Otoribashi
3. Anyone Dating: No. From what I've heard Kudo doesn't plan on ending Bleach with a couple.
4. Is Aizen free: Yes. Kyoraku went to him for help and unlocked his seal, bringing him to the surface, but didn't break the seal that bound him to the chair. Yhwach arrived later and freed Aizen only to have Ichigo and Aizen team up against him and then he killed Aizen.
5. Grimmjow: Yoruichi brings him back (along with Nelliel and others) through the Garganta. He joins the fight but is poisoned by Askin. Urahara later heals him and helps Grimmjow kill Askin (impales his chest and crushes his heart). Askin survives though and is surprised to see Grimmjow still alive. Grimmjow impales him again but starts losing his footing and Askin reveals that he attack/power grows as he died and Grimmjow falls to his knees.

If you do pick up on it, just know it's a bit rushed near the end because Shounen Jump wanted Kudo to finish fast. :(

Well, it would make sense for Aizen to kick the bucket, he's a reformed villain, he helped Ichigo defeat Yhwach and saved Soul Society. (although his motivations for doing so could be discussed.) So now his part in the story is done. I'll miss him though. :(
He has to be dead because if he's free and Yhwach is dead than they would have to fight Aizen again and the series is ending. It makes no sense.

I thought that his mom is dead (violently killed by the father or something like that) and that is why Sanji is such a gentleman and so passionate about making every woman's wish come true. Sanji can't stand when someone is rude, violent or disrespectful towards women and maybe this is a result of something experienced in the past . I thought that this theory will explain his behavior.
But it seems like that's just my imagination and his father is just a big asshole

I guess it was his real family who brought him up that way and not jeff because germa kingdom consist mostly of men so woman would be sacred in that kingdom, but that would mean sanji didn't completely abandon all of the germa kingdom teachings.
