That was the most depressing chapter I've ever read. Her parents are irredeemable like they literally would not hear her out even when she tries to explain herself. They also even more angry when she left to live with the duke and acting as if shes throwing a tantrum wtf they have no clue whats she like as a person my god throw the parents away
