That there is chance that 2nd lead might be manipulated by his sponser and I think he is stupid for falling in love with her so easily.
And I like reckless fl but this fl is like stupid kind which is kind of frustrating cause she doesn't think at all
I mean if you are someone who grew up in battlefield I am sure you would have some kind of awareness and maturity to know how to act in certain situations

My theory is that the dragon is the original novel’s author and cursed them in order to control them into all those evil acts. Those that theory doesn’t explain why they chose to possess René’s body; maybe that wasn’t a possession and our main character isn’t the real René after all? Idk in my head all the clues are obv leading to her being possessed, sent to another world, and returning but whatevs
ooooohh that would actually be really interesting to see how the struggle between the author and their characters play out. but yeah the muse was definitely in rene for the 10 years i think

predictions: i’m betting her “dead” husband is the head of the red hawk, and that a lot of the scars on her body was actually from him and not her cousins or bear trap. child is ml’s, and she had to chase him away. revolution will ensue due to the red hawk group and the disarray of the royal family, and fl will be stuck between having to be loyal to the prince and having to be loyal to her dead husband. potentially the ml has to step up as a military power to suppress the coup and perhaps go against the royal family and actually impose the civil council or wtv.
but that’s just a theory, a game theory
