- extremely passive FL in the first half, she basically does nothing and just stands around for all the male characters to dote on while the “villainesses” get jealous.
- weird reincarnation mental age gap, and that is not the way a middle aged lady would act.
- no character had an in depth background story
- the pages being out of order was fucking hilarious when they were talking about a somber poisoning case and then suddenly were taste testing mayonnaise, then back to the poisoning discussion
- this was meant to be a romance but the story starts out with them already having mutual feelings. YAWNNN
- Male characters fall in love with FL after an exchange with like 5 sentences. Villainesses are completely reformed and redeemed and now a friend after a short monologue from the FL.
i was rereading this 5 years later remembering it to be somewhat decent, but then chapter 8, with her first sentence, fucking cracked me up. it’s ruined for me
why did no one question that shit what the fuck
i mean they did question it, but like absolutely not enough because imagine a baby calling you “father and mother” instead of mama & dada, or even mom & dad. and fym “thank you for giving birth to me”????? idk why those first words are making me crash out but i hate chapter 8 so fucking much
