I definitely agree with a lot of y’all, the mom was way to overbearing. And I really hated that she was forgiven so quickly. Like I thought when Takaomi got angry when he talked about she’s pressuring them to have kids would be a Segway to talk about her overbearing nature. The beginning was really weird, it would’ve been nice if they were actually in love and were dating prior to the wedding. It would’ve been much more impactful since a lot social norms is to pop out babies after marriage.
I honestly hate seeing that it’s only Harsen that needs to work on communication, they both do. I know she’s trying now and that’s good, but her word of choice “You were my best choice” does sound hurtful. It sounds like selfish and greedy, but I understand why she did what she did but I don’t agree with it. Harsen was probably raised to be the “best” and when finally likes someone it’s him just being the best. Obviously he should say his emotions but I can see why he doesn’t because how he was raised as well. It takes both grow and work on communication.

Let me say this, I’m not angry at Param, nor “slut-shaming” him. But, I am very disappointed. And don’t get me wrong it’s not towards Param, but the author. The thing I absolutely hate is that when authors uses second leads as plot devices. Like what’s the point of making an audience love the character when the MC treats them as little to nothing. This is why I very much dislike love triangles
