Sure, I'd lie if I said I don't read stories and anticipate when they'll get intimate but I also care about the development of that process. Yeah there's smut where the story doesn't really matter, but this is obviously a manga that's trying to portray a story like most do. And it's absolutely acceptable to be critical of the mangakas story writing skills and execution in portraying that story as the readers.
