yeah cuz an orphaned, mentally and physically abused boy, who'd been tortured and raped by the only person left to take care of him, and pretty much treated less than garbage by literally every single person he met, makes for such a strong willed character I guess...

Someone who remembers a nice family and friends would be more inspired to escape, but Bum never had a good life, Bum has never experienced being outside a heated pot, to want to escape misery you would have had to known happiness before...also after all that Bum still did his military service instead of just killing himself, got almost raped there and still completed his service, to me that does not make a weak character at all, in fact I think he's one of the strongest character I have seen in any manga/manwha...
