I read it on Libby with my library card! You should try! A lot is so different, to spoil it I guess It would be that he sees her in the club they talk he does bring her home and they do come up with an agreement of her staying with him and she does cook etc, but she plus hard to get a lot while he’s legit dying to be with her. After a while she gives in and they start to date and he’s head over heals and yes Beatrix rose does come in the picture and she does hire that one guy to out the drugs in the car. Pretty much Beatrix is crazy and she was out of the country because she needed help. That’s why she wasn’t there. They don’t work on a cafe they work at a car shop, and that does burn down because Beatrix pays some kids to do it. Veronica does live with her best friend for a second I forgot her name but the side character, she goes to live with her when Caleb goes and falls asleep at her house. Basically her family is out of wack the mom hates her the dad is practically gone he’s in a wheel chair and he no longer talks and Beatrix is just suffering from a ton. Anyway he stays there and when he goes home late Veronica is upset and she already suffers from trust issues as her dad would beat her and her mom as kids, so she ran off and Caleb does come and try’s to get her back but she decides she will stay with her friend instead. For the birthday party he actually proposes to her before his birthday party and the mom already knew about Veronica, and the party was about the mom making connections etc. And the dad shows up but Caleb hates him tells him to go away etc. nothing like the WEBTOON where they have the whole dinner. Anyway the mom knows about Veronica and he decided to introduce Veronica as his fiance at the party. She meets the brother and mom and Beatrix actually Brian washes the mom making her think Veronica is crazy and practically hates Beatrix and she copied Beatrix dress but Veronica stands up for herself and the drugs do happens an she gets saved by guitar guy!!! And Caleb gets mad about it. Then the house thing close but not a knife a gun! Anyway hope that helps
