You clearly did not read the whole story.
First things first, the way he treats his daughter like that and the female lead, is because of his past. So clearly his also not trash. His past is so traumatizing that it affects his mental health whenever he come or interact across womens either be it a child or an adult. Also, before you comment something like that make sure to review the background of the characters before judging them from the start or introduction, the fl is clearly helping him from his past if you read half way and trust the process, and how could he be the ml if he doesn't have any character development? But to be more precise, his really not a red flag or a mad type of character, his just not healed yet from his past in the start of the story. That's all i could say, excuse me if i offend in some way im just correcting your- sentences.

please give it a chance, there’s a valid reason explained behind his reactions rather than some other manhwas that gloss over their mls’ behaviour. i thought the same as you but as soon as they explained his past, it all makes sense, really. and given that the fl had a sudden change, it’s only logical that he would take some time to truly trust her but believe me, he’s changing and becoming both a better husband and father. unlike some other manhwas, the ml’s character development is shown very clearly in this one

There is one part where a male character is pure trash (there are a few unfortunately) there so that was hard to get thru from how upsetting it was for me

the plot is just that body switching I think! and now they just have their happy story but there is also fred and xiaos story so it probably will focus on them later

the plot got interesting and it gets a lot of interaction from the readers since then main characs realized their true feelings from eo after the body switching has ended
