I don't like the Mananan guy....

Mananan's actually not bad thoo
He's very pushy yes but it's because he didn't know any better
The only bad thing he did was abandoning Himeko
But then he really regretted it?? And he apologised (he's always very honest so the apology is likely to be sincere) at that time he was just prioritising Mon over everything else

Okay, so about the maid thing, the girl with the slightly brown hair and red eyes (the maid whose name I can't seem to remember sorry T^T) She was present in Moritat too. I think Law put her there and the reason why is to see if they would do anything since Law obviously suspected something between them. And also Law trying to sleep with Jesse look-alike maid in Moritat (the scene which I don't want to remember), I don't think he was really trying to sleep with her. He probably wanted Jesse to empathize what it felt like for him. And also to support my opinion about the idea of Law actually not sleeping with maid, are that both of them weren't naked afterwards and the maid entered from the outside to inform Law that there was an visitor, she was not with him. Opinions? Correct me if I am wrong.
(Really sorry for my horrible English)

Thanks and Oh, extra information, assuming that Moritat is and VR device which lets you delve into someones' subconscious, then Law probably knew that Jesse was coming in and set up a scenario of the maid thingy. I mean he was chill af like he planned and knew it all along. (Reading a book seriously xD)
Chapter 8 made me cry, Shima and his mom.
