My favorite part was when Law was thinking Jesse would be scared and trembling but he just came out of the room with a straight face.
Seriously Law, I thought you knew Jesse more than that.

Haha true But when Jesse cut his finger with the wine bottle he looked really scared. Its just that this time Law came too late to the party because Jesse had already calmed down.

I feel like the point of it is to show how he is becoming more arrogant and sure of his importance to Jesse to the point he is actually possibly inflating his importance. Like...he sometimes gets the idea Jesse couldn't do anything without him, needs him. Which...makes sense with the role he forced onto Jesse while he was in Moritat. He was always seeking comfort from Law, needing him in order to be okay... Moitat is like...making that a reality for Law. His own expectations...

thanks for pointing that out. It really is true that Law is becoming more arrogant. In the last chapter he was saying to his mother about how he needs to be beside Jesse because there are many things that Jesse can´t do and about discarding him like an "old shoe". The part where Jesse cried and desperately begged Law to stay definitely boosted his ego.

Its a really interesting dynamic in Law imo. He is so easily influenced and controlled by Jesse's mood and words, yet as soon as Jesse does anything like admit mutual feelings or be open about his feelings, Law's ego soars. One minute he's crippled, the next he feels like a king. Their relationship is super messed up, but very interesting and fun to read about.
does anyone know the creator's twitter or social media account??
