Wow taeha is really orchestrating meticulously each step of his plan one by one. He doesn’t want it to just be one and done, he wants minshit to hurt really bad like destroy your entire life bad. Okay, I’ll be patient.
I found that comment by taeha, I already gave you a chance, interesting. Like taeha has observed them for who knows how long…maybe since that flashback of him beat up as a kid and Haesoo in the rain, and waited to see if they could work things out, but seeing how bad things got for her, his hand was forced and he had to step in. I like that it’s kept in a bit of mystery what his true intentions are. Like he could easily pay off her debt, move her away, and give her a better life. But he makes calculated moves so that she won’t have a shred of love left for her ex husband and feels she can’t live without him anymore. I hope he’s trying to protect her and does love her in some way. I’m still waiting for his breakthrough moment where we can see his real feelings instead of his stoic/calculative self. He’s definitely a complex character.
I know we all had a good laugh last season with mc being naked like 95% of the time. Having seen raws for S2, I’m here to report it doesn’t get any better. Man is once again butt naked and being raped, except this time by the new captors. So everyone better buckle up or let this marinate for a few months because apparently things can and will get worse for mc. Let’s wait for that 5% plot together shall we?

Was so close to not reading this since I have so many stories to read, I usually pick something with a higher rating to check out but luckily read a few positive comments and really glad I gave it a go because the writing and the subtle expressions in the art are fantastic. Story feels unique and even the minor characters feel well characterized and purposeful. Hope others will give a chance too. Trigger warnings for rape, violence, drug use…so definitely not for everyone.
I legitimately feel so overjoyed when someone gives AOU a shot because it’s genuinely so good and underrated. I hate how much people first viewed it and it was bumped down. It has a progressing story and characters that are fleshed out and don’t fall flat I can’t wait to see how this unfolds I love those two!
So right about the unique part which why it’s one of my top favs ! I’ve read plenty of abo but the way author-san is writing it out is just chef kiss!
So excited for the physical manhua! Finally I can support the artist! I hope the art will stay similar in later volumes.
