I think maybe a few readers are missing some plot points. In chapter 28, mc is waiting for ml outside the club, ml comes out and a woman in a pink dress comes up to him holding his arm and calls him sucheol. This is not his real name. It’s the name of the bloodied man at the end of s1 in the basement, he was dealing drugs on the side against organization rules and got addicted to them himself and is even dealing to kids (ie the trio of bullies from mc’s highschool, they waited outside the park restroom for the drug drop when ML was texting them as sucheol, also explains why those kids were snooping around the island in the first place because they are drug runners or users). Mc is posing as him and investigating I believe the drug supplier/distribution system. This is stated in chapter 25 when he meets the man with the suit and sunglasses, the informant, at the pier. ML pretended to be sucheol on the island and is trying to get more info on the supplier during that whole beach scuba diver drug exchange. *spoiler* informant later wants mc to meet up again with that ‘woman’ as part of their drug investigation. We don’t know know ML’s real name. For all we know he could be deep undercover law enforcement, no evidence yet, or just a higher up in a larger crime syndicate, as he states that sucheol guy was his direct subordinate in the organization. Hope that helps someone.

My prediction was right last chapter. I thought maybe bada can’t survive outside the games and Doha just wants to keep playing with his bae and everything and everyone else be damned. Gosh is there a happy ending for these two? Falling in love with an NPC, please this better not end tragic. Maybe Doha will win and trade his place for bada, but I really hope they can be together somehow.

I get that there will be character development eventually but we are more than 60 chapters in and the ml is still the hugest jerk and it’s mostly been just suffering for the mc. Author is really dragging it out and the lack of progression has made an unsatisfying read. Maybe we’re just a few chapters away from an aha! moment. But I’m doubtful bc ml really doesn’t seem to ready to act like a decent person. So hard seeing Dan practically s*icidal.
Yes I can’t wait to taste the sweetness of Mincheol burning with regret and getting his comeuppance. Every thought, word, or action that comes from him just shows how nasty and narcissistic a person he is. Mind-boggling how he’s shown as a sweet kid, like how the heck did we go from that to now? He’s an extremely interesting character.
