Currently on chpt 26, and I can confidently say that the 'mc' deserves the treatment she has been getting from Spencer this entire time. I hate when a character that has previously been a terrible person isn't given the time in the story to grovel for the terrible things they did. I'll go as far to say that she should be asking Spencer's forgiveness for essentially sexually harassing him for decades. Like we are literally having characters saying Spencer is lucky for having a pretty stalker. It's ridiculous.
Well the MC did accept that point that the original owner was not a good person. Also, the person the princess is not original it's the MC who died and transmigrated into this story. Are you saying the MC who did not do anything bad get punished for what the original owner did and repent. Where is the logic. The one who stalked that Raymond is gone. The one who did the terrible things is also gone. The MC is now working hard to clean up after the original owner. The one here is not her. So you getting upset about no redemption ark is pointless.
we know Agnes saint isn't here anymore but nobody besides the audience and the MC know. So if you think about it from the supporting cast perspective there is literally no reason for them to be so nice to her after all that Agnes has done. Agnes banned commoners from attending certain celebrations regardless of their achievements for no reason. The fact that after Agnes sexualy harassed Spencer for so long and he still hasn't received an apology is a missed opportunity to establish why he will become a love rival in the future. I just think most of the writing in this story feels pretty shallow with a lot of missed opportunities.
it's pretty reasonable to hate them both (spencer and og agnes). both of them did something bad to each other. they had their own struggles sure but that won't justify their actions, really. and if current fl apologize to spencer on behalf of og agnes, i think he won't accept it or even believe for it to be genuine.

It's almost too obvious that his feelings are contradictory to his actions. I'm guessing it has something to do with Owen and his constant head injuries. him becoming really nice after he lost his memories of her. Seems to hint that there is a greater force at large affecting him and that force is most likely the Everett's. I also think it has to do with her hinted magical abilities.
