I do also read it in Japanese to help with my studies.
I do talk to my students about the different chapters but it’s a little harder to get in depth
I just wish like an actual story would happen and not this random snippets of things.
I’m all caught up and I thought they’re would be more of a story for one of the most popular BL comics out there.
I just feel like it’s losing its purpose and spark. It used to feel like it was going somewhere but now it just comes off like noise.
Don’t get me wrong I still really like the overall manga but I just wish the writer would stop running anyway from the story...
Preach. There doesn't seem to be much if any direction anymore, and the use of violence as a response seems childish on the authors part by this stage and after 200 odd chapters you would have just expected more development and growth of the characters rather than "pretend to kiss" and the response being "punch in the face".
I love 19 Days but it is so popular because it's pure fanservice.
Readers coming to 19 Days based on the high ratings thinking that this is about more than this end up getting disappointed.
It's like a candy to satisfy sweet teeth -- you have the cute childhood friends couple for fluffy and the kink owner/pet couple for the crowd that enjoys a seme who forces his target into submission. Giving what the crowd wants is what makes this so popular.
