also my pretentious opinions even tho no one cares this probably did take style + trope inspo from ks but thats where it ends. this reads way more like bl already than ks ever aimed to, characters and their motivations seem less interesting (just to me). also saying this uke is crazier than yoonbum is also off, bum was also a crazy fuck from the start, everyone just forgets because he looks innocent as the author intended. i think i just love ks too much from the story and character depth standpoint that seeing it compared to smth so different saddens me,, as if no one even read ks the way it was meant to be read at all and reduces it to hot murder guy and uwu innocent bean uke do crime when its actually so interesting

akiyoshi deserved better,, not in terms of a love interest or anything just that i really liked his character and was excited to see how it'd play out only for him to undo all the work he'd done to keep minato and naoki apart?? i get that he gave up after seeing them that one morning but it still felt out of the blue. plus he turned an interesting conflict into not a conflict at all,, he was just really nonchalant about the meeting where he planned to confront the thing he'd been fighting for 10 years and the 'game' made it seem like he wasn't taking it seriously after all he'd done. i was more interested in him than the two mcs so i personally am bitter his ending wasn't satisfying :')
