So I know this has nothing to do with the recent chapters or with the plot line that is Set and Horus(yet),but is no one gonna bring up how quickly Hathor went from cute lovable fangirl to holy shit this woman is insane and clearly won't take no for an answer?
Hii, firstly, I think it's important to know that mojito is extremely inspired of egyptian mythology and that she knows the myths. Then, to answer your question, if you look it up on internet you can see that in some temples Hathor and Sekhmet are the same person, so it's like Hathor would have her cute side and also a violent side. To continue, i think the fact that Hathor and Sekhmet are viewed as only one deity in some temples will play on the story and that it's why Hathor is "becoming" completely insane. I'd like to add that this is only an hypothesis and that we can't know if that's the reason why she's behaving like that all of sudden but i hope it helped you in understanding the change in her behaviour^^
So are we really just gonna scoot on past that like that shit did not just happen? Really? Cause I can't,he was already at the bottom,he already admitted that he was have to start all over and there is no guarantee that'll work cause people will talk, but no. We get to him get kidnapped, raped (potentially daily),and forced into a relationship with a literal psychopath. Jesus that's a bit much.
I don't rlly care for shitty side characters, but I honestly think that he didn't deserve to go thru that. Yes, he should be punished for sexually assaulting Taesung, but him being kidnapped & raped was.... not the right punishment. It was a bit too much.
There's literally SO MUCH MORE other shitty BL characters that SHOULD be punished this way. And yet those characters still have a happy ending :/
If you check their last names (Borgia) and look up what the real life Borgias were infamous for, you'll realize that beginning scene of her sitting on his lap is a lot more creepy. Especially with the implication in his made up story that Ruby was sexually abused continuously as a child, it's all coming together that he,in addition to beating her, also was the one who sexually abused her.
Lucian is about to invoke his father's childhood trauma and I am living for it.
