I just started the second season, and I can't fucking understand how this shit has so many fans. The dude SHOT and RAPED the protagonist FOR A WEEK (I mean, once is bad enough, BUT FOR A WHOLE ASS WEEK???)
And I know what you all are gonna say "oh, but he's a Mafia boss, he did all that because he was raised that way, it's a dark romance and yada yada yada". But let me tell you something, if the bitch was ugly absolutely NO ONE would be rooting for him.
I can pass a lot of things, specially for fictional characters, but being a rapist is something no amount of redemption arc is gonna fix for me. I just don't understand honestly, they built up their relationship so well in the first season, and everything sexual they did was always consensual, just to end up fucking it up in the second season like that???
And I like dark romance, but this is just sexualizing and apologizing a rapist, and it's disgusting, to say the very least.
