Also there have been 2 protagonists since 2014/15 both saitama and garou. Garou even had an introduction arc and he is the focus of the biggest part of the story. But you can always like saitama more im just explaining

for the first time in my life I feel like I need to make a mini blog or something on this story (I think I make some good points)
First of all this really is a very very very good story like the plot and everything was so well done but I need to say just 2 things
First of all I flipping hated that whole “if the princess hadn’t kidnapped him and he left of his own will, he wouldn’t come back to me no matter how much I cried and begged” bullshit because when you really think about it where is the correlation. The fact that Ian didn’t leave of his own will and was kidnapped gives ray that idea that “omg he didn’t leave me after all” and he does not deserve that - Ian should have left of his own accord.
You can tell me that he was thinking of it, that it was going to happen eventually and that in the end he got out but that fact is that he did not leave. He was kidnapped. And that pissed me off.
Throughout that whole engagement process when Raymond was desperately trying to keep Ian at home Ian should have left to nersia and he should have been there for at least and I mean AT LEAST two months without Ray. Anyways my point is that Ian could have chosen to leave and also could have choosen to come back to Ray after a while. Key word - CHOOSE.
Another point is that I hated that the princess was written so that in the end the readers wouldn’t feel too bad for her. I truly believe the author wrote the princess to try and kill Ian and spread rumours just to paint Ray in a slightly better light and to make it easier for ray to leave her. The reality is that the princess is a victim and I would have liked to see Raymond leave her, even if she did nothing wrong. I wanted to see a distraught heartbroken princess crying disgustingly on the floor so that ray really knows what he did and how his decisions impacted people. (The author can give her another love interest in the end if that scene is really too hard to handle)
I truly believe it was a bit too easy for him

This was a good one, I can understand what u mean! I’m curious maybe I missed out on it but how did Raymond found out that it was the princess who told people to kidnap Ian? Did Ian tell him what happened to him and that he didn’t leave by himself. Also when Ray told her that they will not get married the princess didn’t seemed very sad about it, I felt she didn’t love him that deep but idk. They are smart people and they do what benefits them.
And Ian, yes I think he would eventually lineage by his own after som time since the pain would be too high if they got married and the princess and Ray got a kid together. But also I’m not sure either since he said himself that if Ray told him that he loved him, he would stay by his side no matter what. That he (Ian) would endure everything. He was so in love that he would choose him no matter what, shit ! I’m in pain, how can he love someone that DEEEEEP!?
Also Ian has a very sad past and have not much knowledge like Ray has. He has been used and manipulated for so long, I could understand the choices he made and he would not be able to provide alone in that world, where money and power is everything. Just look how he got when he left that mansion almost becoming a slave for richer people …
Ahhh such a good story with so much to discuss, I could talk about it for so long
