It’s really refreshing seeing characters that are realistic and relatable. I can relate with Taichi quite a bit; internal struggles, coming out, divorced parents, and fearing being accepted in general are issues many people face nowadays face. I admit that Taichi was wrong when he raped Nao, but he is a bit emotionally unstable. Having your parents divorced can put a lot of stress on you and can lead to rash actions. Sometimes counseling can help. Taichi’s main intention was to make Nao happy, but making decisions by yourself can lead to conflict. That’s why it’s best to talk things out rationally with your significant other(s). I also think Mikarin won’t accept them, but true friends won’t judge you simply by your sexuality. It’s unfortunate, but we live in a world full of homophobic people. It was a beautiful manga and I’m happy for Taichi and Nao in the end. I sincerely hope that they can overcome all oncoming problems together. Realistic mangas leave such an addictive, bittersweet aftertaste (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
THANK YOU everybody is hating on Taichi. Maybe because I've been emotionally invested in this since the beginning, But i just can't hate him. Not everything goes as planned and i think this manga portrays that beautifully
