Promos are pretty much 1 chapter promotions for novels. So when something isnt a promo it means that it gets a whole manhwa adaptation

pretty sure it's when it's only a chapter showing a few scenes from the light novel but it's not serialized; a promotion to read the light novel

idek if that makes sense but if u see promos, they're most likely a light novel :)
