Maru didn't wanna lose a friend so he ran from his feelings and tried to get his brother to make Woong stop liking him. The brother genuinely has feelings to Woong so that worker out. However Maru sees Woong still has feelings no matter what and realizes he wouldn't lose him as a friend, so he comes clean. Maru tells the brother they're dating and nothing has to change (Woong can date both). This seems to still hold after everything blows up because Woong genuinely cared for both and seemed to forgive them. *phew*
