It was good, there's no denying it, but all my anger is being redirected from Chidori to the ending itself. Chidori was written in as an asshole psychopath, he couldn't help it. Noeru dying, though? That could have been prevented. Mamiya becoming completely imbalanced at the end and wandering into the water to drown? That didn't have to happen. NONE of that had to happen. I can't even buy it.
I am really loving the story, but the art style is an assault on my eyes. Good art is kind of essential to me when it comes to reading any manga, and this is killing me.
Not my cup of tea. I could forgive this manga and enjoy the ending more if it weren't for what Watakabe did to his brother, which is grossly unforgivable.

Seriously, though, that came out of the left field. I already knew that Shirotani thought himself disgusting (poor thing), but regarding the depths of Kurose's attraction? I had NO idea.
Of course this just makes me like the story more, and the newfound bit of fear I have for Kurose only adds spice to the plot, if you ask me. That was sad as shit, but sail on with the story!
Looks like the topic of rape made it here, too. Just want to toss in my two cents.
Yes, it goes without saying that Asami DEFINITELY used to rape Takaba. And since it goes without saying, couldn't we just not mention it? Because it's obvious, it's crystal clear non-con and I'd say the majority of readers know it.
Also, note the word "used". The relationship between the two has changed now, so it really (aside from a few questionable scenarios) isn't rape anymore where they're concerned.
Just wanted to say. Don't dwell on the rape, enjoy the manga. And if you can't do either, this probably isn't the yaoi for you.
Asami had his goons try to beat Akihito up the first time they met, then he raped him and now they're lovers. Fei Long threatened to kill Akihito's friends, then raped him more times than Asami did (I think) and now they're like BFFs.
So Akihito apparently doesn't have a problem with what either Asami or Fei Long did in the past; therefore, neither do I :P

Wow, so basically Kuze is working to make Kusakabe completely and totally reliant on him, and goes so far as to tell him lies as soon as anybody else is kind to him.
Yup, this chapter made me realize: Kuze is a creep. And now I want Karino and Azusa back, because at least their relationship was standard yaoi.
