Using is too strong of a word. But he is definitely on the rebound considering how soon Sunny jumped at the chance to sleep with Taesung. I think Sunny did have a crush on Taesung back in their high school days, so they would have gotten together sooner or later. They should have gone on a few dates before having sex. But with Young breathing down his back its not too surprising that Sunny would cling to someone good like Taesung in order to overwrite Young's influence. If Young didn't just pop up it isn't impossible that they would have gotten together the "normal" way.
Young has noticed that Sunny has gained the strength to try and break their "relationship" because of Taesung. Young is the one claiming that Sunny is using Taesung...as if Young was the type to leave Sunny alone even if Sunny didn't have a new "boyfriend". But to an abuser like Young Sunny's actions can only be explained by an outside influence. Nevermind the fact that Young assumed that Sunny was supposed to wait around feeling unworthy for the rest of his life.
It looks to me that Sunny isn't being honest with Taesung because he doesn't want to drag Taesung too deep into this mess with Young(which is a mistake cuz communication). If Sunny were really using Tasung he'd try to get Taesung to fight his battles for him. Like literally get him to have a confrontation with Young over him, instead hes trying to keep Young away from Taesung.
