I really wish I could like this story since it seems it grows sweet later on, but for right now, I am uncomfortable.

Daewon is homophobic, and there's nothing right about that. But that doesn't mean that his opinions and feelings shouldn't be respected, especially since this is a bl manhwa and we all know he's going to end up with a guy, the fun part is the character development. He might be a homophobic bastard but he's a person, too. I hated how that chibi hyung is trying to hold him to a contract he signed while drunk, that he didn't even remember signing because he was that drunk. They shouldn't have let him sign it while drunk, it shouldn't even be valid. Do you know who gets people to sign things while they're under the influence? Scammers. This poor kid got scammed. It is not okay to make someone do something they don't want to do, that they are completely uncomfortable with, even if it furthers the plot. Far from disliking his attitude, I feel sorry for him.

Then, the other MC. At the moment, I don't even like the bi guy, and I'm onyl up to ch 3 because he's making the other guy uncomfortable and that is not romantic. I get that it changes later, but there's apparently some sexual harrassment going on there, with the bi guy making advances and Daewon not liking it, saying no, but still the other guy doesn't stop. Now this is a pretty common trope in yaoi, but maybe because I've seen some great stuff recently where it's all consenting and even when it's a guy who starts off as straight ending up with another man, there's consent all over the place, and apologies if boundaries are crossed. So I really hate to go back to the old stuff where you just skim over the rapey stuff for the story.

The story is fine, except I wouldn't mind some parts getting switched around: the uke shows he's homophobic, the thing with his house happens, he has no other choice, so he sucks it up. the bi guy offers to house him for a while with the rule that he won't try to hit on him or make him uncomfortable, the chibi hyung gives him the bl job and he signs the damn contract sober because it's work and he was in desperate need of money. You can just as easily develop a relationship from this without it feeling forced. even if he had no other choice, it's still his choice to make, especially since in the manhwa, the reason he couldn't move back in with his parents was because he'd already signed the contract for the bl VA (while drunk.)

I'll probably continue with this if I can't find something else to read, but for now, I just got off a really sweet somewhat long bl series that I wouldn't mind seeing more of. It was both cute and sexy, and I really want to find something where there is no jerky behavior.
