Arrogant ahole delinquent MC and naive milquetoast doormat FMC. He's probably been cheating on her all along for the whole eight years and she never knew cause she doesn't have enough brain cells to put 2 and 2 together.
Wow. Do you cheat on your wife and blame it on her? In either case, you don't seem to be able to read, either. The girl is no milquetoast sweetcheeks. She refused to believe Yang Shen liked her. But like most abusive a-holes he hid his psychopathic tendencies pretty well. So, you seem to be pretty naive and an actual milquetoast, as well.
C'mon, we all already know that if a man cheats on a woman it's the woman's fault. For not banging with him enough, for not being smart enough to notice it, for not paying attention to him...
And if a woman cheats on a man, it's because she is a plain bit*h

After saying that I need a shower, I feel dirty.
Chapter 139 marks the 3rd anniversary and the 129th chapter since I started scanlating Koi Inu with carolusmengus back in August of 2015. Since then, charlemagne from carolusmengus retired from scanlating and I was very fortunate to find a fellow collaborator in UMR-san from UMR Scans with whom I have published over 100 chapters from 3 different projects.
Three years later and Koi Inu, with 154 chapters currently published in Japanese, looks like Coco's going for a very long haul. From the perspective of where the story is at, I wouldn't be surprised if it tops 200, or even 300 chapters. However long it lasts, I hope to be able to continue to provide scanlations til the end.
As for Chapter 139 itself, it looks like Coco has written the wrong person out of the story! It is also worthy to note that, in-universe, a whole year has passed and Igarashi and Chiyo are now in their 2nd year of college.
With every new chapter, Yakushimaru-chan is getting less and less likeable. Ootaki-kun did nothing wrong or inappropriate (of his own volition), and especially nothing that would give her the right to slap him. Granted, if she was actually his girlfriend, I'd understand, and perhaps even approve. But they are friends at best and, especially since she is the one who friend-zoned him, Yakushimaru-chan has no right to bitch and moan about his behavior, even if she had caught them kissing. Yes, I think the word "bitch" seems appropriate here.
Oh, I'm not saying that she shouldn't feel hurt or jealous, and I can empathize with her about that, but since she, herself, friend-zoned him and is not his girlfriend, she has no right to slap him or get angry at him for being "intimate" with another girl. If she wants to act like that, then she should accept his confession and claim him as her own. Don't get me wrong, I think Yakushimaru-chan is one of the most adorable girls I seen in a series I've read. She just needs to deal with all her emotional baggage before being involved in a relationship.
Okay not gunna lie, I completely forgot thats happened. Though rereading it, it seemed that she recognized that she wasn't in the right state of mind for a relationship, so thats why she rejected him in the first place. She knew that she wasn't doing the right thing and decided to back off, he was the one who wanted to continue being friends with her. So he kinda friend-zoned himself (It's mostly in ch 16)
Yes, this is all pretty much true, though I do take exception to Ootaki friend-zoning himself. It's not like he decided to just stay as her friend forever, rather, he still hopes that she will eventually change her mind. Do you think that, if another dude comes along and makes a play for her, that he will take a back seat and watch over her as a friend would?
Aha not really, like right after this her childhood friend came into the pic and he got super pissed. He was obviously distressed, chasing them around and trying to get in-between them. I think the only difference is that he was just much more direct (she is quite passive) and the thing with the childhood friend was only in one chapter (ch. 18). So I kinda excuse both of their behavior because its clear that they are more than just friends. Ya feel me?
So far, the annoying, arrogant childhood friend has only been in 2 chapters, but don't count him out of the picture just yet. And, yes, for all intents and purposes, Yakushimaru and Ootaki are more boyfriend and girlfriend than just friends. As things stand right now, it would be hard to imagine either of them in a romantic relationship with anyone else.
So yup, thats why Im not really irritated by her action/behavior in these recent updates but i don't think you are wrong for being annoyed (there are tons of times I get rubbed the wrong way, even though it doesn't bother others). Be that as it may, I do find these recent events frustrating overall, wether or not I empathizes with the characters.
I really, really like Hazel. You rarely get to see strong, independent, intelligent and attractive women in comix. Red, on the other hand, is the type of bishie that I detest the most: narcissist, conceited and arrogant with zero humility and a complete disregard for how his actions affect others. It's going to be a horrid shame if Hazel ends up dating him if his attitude stays the same.
mangago leeches off of other websites and, specifically, bato.to where I originally posted my scanlations for Koi Inu. I accidentally uploaded the wrong zip file for chapter 117, but before I was able to correct the mistake, mangago had already leeched it from bato.to. You can read the correct version of chapter 117 and all future chapters of Koi Inu on my website fredfriendly.com.
"He did confess to me a long time ago. We met a few times... We weren't officially dating, but were on the premise that we would..." does not sound like, "Really, I had nothing going one with Chanhee Seonbae." Does Gayoung not realize that lying to the one you love will only bite you in the ass in the end?
With chapter 12 comes one of my least favorite tropes: the fake relationship. It was bad enough that the mangaka felt the need to introduce a third wheel, but now the mangaka tells us that the MC and the third wheel were in a fake relationship in High School. If she was even the least bit likeable, or even attractive, I might feel different, but she's nothing but an annoying troll.
